Harvey spent 27 years in the automotive industry with BMW Group and its predecessors, working across R&D, product development, new product planning, production control, manufacturing strategy, and business planning. This breadth of experience allows him to take a whole-system approach, ensuring strategy, execution, and operational capability are fully aligned for robust, sustainable solutions.

Since 2004, Harvey has applied his expertise as a consultant, trainer, and coach across multiple sectors. His projects include redesigning New Product Introduction processes, developing production operating models, improving hospital scheduling, and embedding continuous improvement practices. Clients have included Jaguar Land Rover, Rotork, Smiths Detection, Edwards Vacuum, and Johnson Matthey. He has also developed and delivered a suite of highly acclaimed training courses for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, covering all aspects of the product lifecycle.
